The Puritama Hot Springs are a set of eight large pools of water located in the desert, at 3,475 meters above sea level.
For several years they have been managed by the Council of Atacameño Peoples, who are in charge of maintaining the facilities of the place.
These hot springs were known for centuries by the locals, but only a few years ago were opened to the public and tourism, so they still retain their original purity and charm. Surrounded by desert, the Puritama Baths have modern and comfortable facilities suitable for visitors who want to enjoy nature and the imposing desert landscape.
