We leave at 7.00 a.m. from San Pedro in a north-easterly direction, towards the Andes Mountain Range. We arrive at the crater of the Sairecabur volcano, at an altitude of 5,300 meters above sea level following an old and winding road that once led to a sulfur mine. The crater measures 4 km. in diameter. Here it is possible togo on an easy one-hour hike to see, through a "window" of the crater, the majestic Laguna Verde (Bolivia) and the full dimension of the Licancabur volcano. Breakfast with a panoramic view of the Andes Mountains on the Bolivian side.

We descend to the Puritama Hot Springs around 10.00 a.m., time to relax and enjoy the thermal pools (at 33°C). Return to San Pedro around 14.00 hrs.
